Common executive obstacles — and how I solve them

Let’s Make Health Fit Your Life

Choose what matters most to you — I’ll build a plan that fits your schedule, goals, and preferences. No pressure, just a smarter way forward.

Strength coaching — full-body progress without pain

Who says you can’t buy a strong, pain-free body?

With just two sessions a week under my guidance, many have eliminated lower back, hip, and knee pain — and become significantly stronger.

Proof That Smart Training Pays Dividends

54‑year‑old nurse
Six months of 2×/week strength work turned a ‘scheduled’ back surgery into a non-issue. Doctors advised adding a 3rd weekly session + swimming—and the operation was canceled. Result: pain down, confidence up, zero downtime.
55‑year‑old bus driver
Hip pain forced him to sleep face-down with a pillow under his knee. After consistent strength training, I asked about the hip—he had to think for a moment. The pain that once dictated his nights simply wasn’t there.
48‑year‑old executive
Back, knee, and wrist pain were killing his tennis and his focus at work. Steady strength + simple nutrition changes = pains gone and significant weight off. He’s moving freely on court—and in meetings.
36‑year‑old store manager
Lyme disease twice left him too weak to brush his teeth for 2 minutes or walk 2 km. A few months of smart strength work later: tooth-brushing effortless, 5 km walks pain-free—soon after, 6 km and counting.
37‑year‑old civil servant
Tying bootlaces left him breathless thanks to a growing belly. He dropped 20 kg of body fat, regained his lungs and his lightness, and got his self-respect back.
66‑year‑old department head
Trained through autumn and winter. By spring, she reported feeling sure-footed on slush and ice—stable hips, confident steps, zero fear of slipping on the way to work.
36‑year‑old programmer
First session nearly made him throw up doing basics a 66-year-old woman handled. Months later—and 20+ kg lighter—he jogged to the gym in the rain, trained 90 minutes, then walked home. Bonus: he sold his car.
32‑year‑old startup employee
Avoided a 2 km walk to work fearing it would drain his focus. He tried it. Surprise: more energy, sharper mornings, better output—no caffeine spike required.
54‑year‑old dentist
His tennis coach noticed first: “You’re getting to so many balls—what changed?” Answer: strength training and ~15 kg lighter. Faster feet, stronger shots, better recovery between sets.

My Life Timeline

  1. 1988
Born as my mother’s first child; she worked as a bookkeeper in a small borough.
  2. 1991
My grandfather died after his third heart attack. We moved to a tiny village farm with no running water and an outdoor toilet.
  3. 1995
Started school where my grandmother had taught since she was 18.
  4. 1997
    My brother Andres was born.
  5. 2000
    My brother Taniel was born.
  6. 2003
Met my granduncle, psychologist and professor Vello Sermat. Reading his short biography inspired me to pursue psychology.
  7. 2007
Failed to get into the University of Tartu’s psychology program.
  8. 2008
Worked a year in construction, retook my exams, reapplied, and was accepted to study psychology as my second degree.
  9. 2008
First attempt to lose excess body fat by running—too heavy, wrong shoes, hard surfaces. Result: a knee injury that still reminds me I started the wrong way.
  10. 2010
Second attempt: a friend said I was fat; we made a bet. I lost 6 kg in 6 weeks before Midsummer Eve—then regained it (plus a few more) by summer’s end.
  11. 2012
Graduated with two degrees: Social Policy and Psychology.
  12. 2013
Hired a personal trainer for plans and meal guidance. Stayed on track for one month, lost 2 kg, then regained it quickly—with extras.
  13. 2014
Began my fourth journey toward a lighter body while finishing my Master’s in Communication Management at the University of Tartu.
  14. 2015
Completed my Master’s and gave myself the best gift: 22 kg lost in one year.
  15. 2017
Completed an intensive FAF Estonia personal trainer course and started with my first clients.
  16. 2018
Noticed I had regained ~7 kg (about a third of what I’d lost). Took back control.
  17. 2019
Leanest and lightest ever: visible abs, −30 kg from my highest weight. Also recognized downsides: binge-eating episodes and low libido—important lessons for long-term balance.
  18. 2025
Ten years after the big change, I’m the strongest—physically and mentally—I’ve ever been. An active lifestyle now means no low-back pain, no shoulder discomfort, healthy body fat levels, stamina to run a half-marathon if I want, and better sleep.
  19. Today
Coaching continues to teach me as much as multiple university degrees—about people, behavior change, and what truly works.
