Feel better. Look better. Know what to do next.
If you want to improve your body, energy and consistency, but you are not sure where to start — we start with clarity. In Tallinn or online.
We look at your current routine, food, training, stress, schedule and goals, then create a realistic next step that fits your actual life.
If you recognise yourself here, Clarity is probably the right first step.
This is not for people who already have everything perfectly in place. This is for people who are tired of restarting, feeling confused, and knowing what they should probably do — but not being able to make it work in real life.
You have started many times before... and then slowly stopped again.
You generally know what you should do, but consistency does not last.
You do not have a clear system that fits your actual life, schedule and energy.
You are tired of constantly needing to “get yourself together” again.
You do not want to rely on motivation finally appearing — you want clarity on where to start.
You want to understand what would actually make sense in your situation.
This is not for everyone. And that is the point.
If you recognise yourself in the green side, Clarity is probably a good next step. If you recognise yourself in the red side, this may not be the right option right now.
You want to finally understand what actually works in your situation.
You are willing to look honestly at your habits and routine.
You want a system that fits your real life, not a perfect day.
You want a clear plan, not more random information or motivation.
You are ready to take small but consistent steps.
You want someone to think with you, not just give you instructions.
You are looking for a quick fix without changing your behaviour.
You want a ready-made plan to follow without thinking.
You hope motivation will simply last this time.
You are not ready to adjust your time, environment or habits.
You want something that works without your input.
You do not want to go deeper — you just want a quick answer.
The problem is not knowledge. The problem is that it does not survive real life.
Most people already know enough. The question is not only “what should I do?”, but why it falls apart when real life gets busy, stressful or unpredictable.
Your decisions happen in the moment — tiredness, stress, lack of time — not through a system you have prepared in advance.
You do not have a simple and clear next step for different situations, so the “I will think about it later” moment takes over.
You do not see progress clearly or quickly enough, so motivation slowly disappears.
Your environment does not support what you are trying to do — work, home, routines and social situations pull you back.
You are trying to do it alone, without structure, feedback or someone helping you adjust the plan.
The result: you do not build a system. You simply keep starting again.
You do not just get information. You get a clearer plan you can actually follow.
We look at your nutrition, training and current rhythm based on how your life actually works — including busy periods, travel, summer plans and an irregular schedule.
We honestly review your current situation: nutrition, movement, routines, environment and habits.
We identify the real obstacles that have been breaking your consistency so far.
We go through your previous attempts and why they did not last.
We build a clear system you can start using immediately.
You get a concrete plan for nutrition and training — not for an ideal life, but for your real life.
We agree on the next steps, so you are not left alone again thinking “what now?”.
What people say about working with me.
The original reviews are in Estonian. For this English page, the main message is translated so you can understand what people valued: realistic guidance, structure, training, nutrition, consistency and sustainable change.
He does not promise unrealistic results extremely fast. Instead, the strategy is based on scientific sources and takes your health status into account. The goal is to achieve a healthy result that also lasts for the rest of your life. For that, you need to learn nutrition and training methods and do it all with a reasonable load. His message is lifestyle change — and that is exactly what he does. He is active, positive and encouraging. Together with him, I reached my desired weight, and now we are already fine-tuning the body.
I warmly recommend training with Talis. I started as a complete gym beginner. After half a year of working together, I gained important knowledge about strength training, nutrition and changing ingrained patterns. I am healthier, stronger and lighter. Talis is a very pleasant and fun person, and with his guidance it is possible to change your habits.
Talis is not just a trainer, but a great lifestyle guide. He is extremely dedicated, positive and has a good sense of humour. He can always motivate you and is always ready to help. Training sessions and consultations are enjoyable, and the conversation goes beyond the typical training, protein and calorie topics. Warmly recommended.
I can confidently recommend Talis as a very good lifestyle consultant and personal trainer. He does not make you follow diets that only create a yo-yo effect. Instead, he helps you change your mindset so the “click” happens in your head — because let’s be honest, most things are stuck there. He also does not promise 5 kg of six-pack and muscles in two months instead of 5 kg of fat. Everything is smart, reasonable and based on your ability, above all with your health in mind, because it is very easy to train yourself broken. The biggest bonus for me is that everything he talks about and recommends, he has also tested himself and achieved lasting results. He is not just a theorist who has studied a lot and taken courses — he has put it into practice himself, lost 30 kg of excess body fat and maintained it for years. So this man knows what he is talking about and doing.
Talis is a guide I can confidently recommend. He helps you define what you want and gives you a realistic plan for how to achieve it. Training always happens. He is always positive. He actively thinks along with you about everything beyond calories, training and protein. He makes life interesting outside training too — group events, winter swimming, sports events and more. Communication continues outside training sessions as well. I can send my questions at any time and get a quick answer. I am very satisfied.
The location changed. The consistency stayed.
Private studio, outdoor gym, home, park, video call — Tiia did not wait for the perfect time or place. We adjusted training to her real life, so consistency could continue even when the situation changed. That is the power of a good system: the plan does not break when life changes, it adapts.
Safe and simple start
A resistance band can help build strength and improve how you feel, even without complicated equipment.
Stable and controlled progress
A calm private environment makes it easier to learn technique, find the right load and increase it step by step.
Fresh air, same direction
When the weather and location work, strength training can also happen outside and bring variety into the routine.
Leg in a cast, dumbbells in hand
Her leg was in a cast, but the whole body did not have to stop. I brought dumbbells to her home and adjusted the exercises to her situation.
Gyms closed, park open
When gyms were closed during COVID-19, we trained in the park. The environment changed, but the consistency stayed.
Could not meet in person, so we met online
A resistance strap and video call allowed Tiia to continue even when I had COVID and could not meet her in person.
Consistency while travelling
Tiia took her resistance strap to Austria and we continued by video call. Long-term results do not require a perfect environment — they require the ability to find a working solution.
Freedom does not mean random action. It means having a system, skills and support that help you continue even when your location, schedule or options change.
Is Clarity Consultation right for you?
See what each Clarity option includes, how the consultation works, and which format may fit your situation best.
Why would I need a Clarity Consultation?
Today, the problem is usually not lack of information. It is too much information. AI, social media, videos, podcasts and articles give hundreds of recommendations, and many of them contradict each other. The goal of Clarity Consultation is not to give you more random information, but to help you understand what actually matters for your goal, health, experience and real life — and where it makes sense to start.
Is Clarity Consultation only for weight loss?
No. Weight loss can be one goal, but the consultation also fits if you want to become stronger, improve how you feel and look, increase energy, learn strength training, build better habits or create a system that supports your health and quality of life long term.
Why is it so hard today to lose weight and maintain results?
The modern environment makes energy-dense food very available and often makes movement unnecessary. Add sedentary work, lack of time, stress, poor sleep, social situations and habits built over years. That is why lasting change is not only about knowledge or willpower. You need skills, a supportive environment, realistic routines, feedback and a system you can use even when life is not ideal.
Do I have to give up my favourite foods to lose weight?
No. The goal is not to create a list of forbidden foods or make you eat in a way you can only maintain for a few weeks. We look at how your normal foods, portions, protein, vegetables and eating rhythm can support better energy, appearance and body weight change. You do not need to eat perfectly. You need a system that works in real life.
Do I have to start training a lot and very hard?
No. You do not need to start like a special forces soldier or finish the first workout completely exhausted. Exercises and training load are chosen based on your current ability, experience, possible pain and goals. We start from a level where you can learn technique, feel safe and experience that you are actually capable of getting stronger.
What happens if my motivation goes up and down?
Motivation is not something you either have or do not have. It can be supported. For that, you need to feel that you have a say in the process, understand what you are doing and why, experience progress and not have to solve everything alone. In Clarity Consultation, we map what currently supports or blocks your motivation and agree on realistic first steps and possible changes in routines or environment. This makes action less dependent on mood and gives motivation better conditions to grow.
What does Complete Clarity include?
Complete Clarity includes a 2-hour consultation. In the first hour, we focus on your situation, goals and the key theory that matters for you: nutrition, training, daily movement, environment design, habits, routines and other factors affecting your results. In the second hour, we go through a practical selection of strength exercises that fit you, support body fat loss and maintenance, and help you feel stronger, more capable and more confident in your body.
What does Complete Clarity + resistance strap set include?
It includes the same 2-hour complete consultation as Complete Clarity. In addition, you get a resistance strap set, video instructions and a training plan so you can continue the exercises independently at home, at a summer house, at the beach, in a forest, while travelling or anywhere you cannot use a gym.
What does Quick Clarity include?
Quick Clarity is a 1-hour consultation where we focus on one main direction: theory or practice. If we focus on theory, we can work on nutrition, habits, environment, routines or your weight loss system. If we choose the practical direction, we focus on strength exercises, technique and how to build training that fits you. In one hour, it is not possible to cover both directions in the same depth.
Which Clarity option should I choose?
Choose Quick Clarity if you want to focus only on nutrition or only on movement. Choose Complete Clarity if you want to cover both and get a more complete personal plan. Choose the resistance strap package if you want the option to train almost anywhere independently. Choose the weight challenge package if you want 5 weeks of support after the consultation so you can start using what you learned in practice.
What happens after Clarity Consultation?
After the consultation, you can continue with the created plan independently, join a 5-week weight challenge to start practising with group support, or continue with longer-term personal mentoring. No follow-up service is required. The choice depends on how much support you need after the consultation.
Do I have to come to a public gym?
No. In Tallinn, we can meet in my 100% private studio in the Volta Quarter, where it is only the two of us. If needed, the practical part can also happen in an agreed outdoor gym. If you live further away or prefer a home-based solution, we can do the consultation by video call through Zoom, Messenger or WhatsApp. For theory-focused consultation, a written live chat may also work by agreement. The goal is to find an environment where you feel safe and can learn calmly.
What is the resistance strap set?
The resistance strap set allows you to train almost anywhere: at home, at a summer house, in a hotel, outdoors or while travelling. The set includes two anchors. One lets you attach the strap to a door, and the other lets you attach it to a suitable pipe, beam or strong tree branch. Tiia has trained with the strap in central Vienna, and Lauri has used it in a mountain cabin in Costa Rica with a volcano in the background. The goal is to give you a practical way to train even when there is no gym nearby.
How do I receive the resistance strap set?
If we meet in Tallinn, I will give you the resistance strap set during the consultation. If you choose video consultation, I will send the resistance strap set within Estonia by post free of charge for the Complete Clarity+ package. Shipping outside Estonia can be agreed separately, including price and availability. For video consultation, we can schedule the time so the set is already with you for the practical part.
What should I prepare before the consultation?
You do not need to create a perfect plan or know all the answers before the consultation. Think through your main goal, biggest obstacles and the questions you want answered. It is useful to know your current training, movement and eating rhythm. For the practical part, wear comfortable clothes and bring your phone if you want to record exercises or important instructions.
How quickly will you contact me after purchase and how long is the package valid?
I will contact you by email within 24 hours after purchase, and we will agree on the consultation time and format. Clarity Consultation must be used within 30 days after purchase. For video consultation with the resistance strap set, we will also take delivery time into account. If the package includes the weight challenge, the group part happens on the dates shown on the challenge page, and we will schedule the consultation so you can start using what you learned in the group.
What does Complete Clarity + weight challenge include?
It includes the same 2-hour personal consultation as Complete Clarity. In addition, you take part in a 5-week weight challenge where you can start using what you learned in everyday life, track your actions and get feedback and practical experience during group consultations.
You do not have to know where to start.
If you have started before and stopped, feel unsure, or worry that you will be judged, send me one simple sentence. You do not have to explain everything perfectly — we can calmly look at what is holding you back and what would be the next realistic step.
Best if you want to send a quick message.
Best if email feels more comfortable.
Best if you would rather talk first.

Complete Clarity is the full 2-hour consultation where we look at both nutrition and training. Quick Clarity is the shorter 1-hour option if you want to focus on one specific topic first.
Clarity gives direction. Mentoring helps you put it into real life.
After the Clarity Consultation, you have a clearer direction. Real change begins when that direction reaches your everyday choices — around work, family, travel, tiredness, weekends and normal life.
Clarity Consultation
We understand where you are now, what has held you back so far and what kind of system could actually work in your life.
Personal mentoring
If we see that you need regular support, I help you put the plan into action inside real weeks, habits, training sessions and everyday life.
I can choose and understand why I am doing something.
You do not just get told “do not eat that”. You learn how to make better choices in your real life: what to eat at a restaurant, how to handle weekends, and how to keep favourite foods in your life without destroying progress.
You get a ready-made plan you are supposed to follow blindly. When a birthday, trip, tiredness or craving appears, the system falls apart because it was not built around your life.
I feel that I can handle this and become more capable.
You learn step by step: how to get enough protein, estimate portions, increase weights in strength training, understand weight fluctuations without panic and make the next small adjustment.
You know that you “should move more and eat better”, but every setback feels like failure. When weight changes or training feels difficult, it becomes easy to think “I cannot do this” or “this does not work for me”.
I am not doing this alone. Someone is thinking with me.
You have a clear rhythm and someone beside you to honestly review what went well, what did not happen, why evening snacking came back or why training was skipped again.
After a consultation, you are alone. At first motivation is high, but when real life returns, there is no one helping you adjust the plan, keep accountability and get out of the restart cycle.
Ryan and Deci’s motivation theory focuses on three psychological needs: autonomy, competence and relatedness. That is why lasting change is not only about information — it also depends on an environment where a person can choose, become more capable and feel supported.
I’m Talis.
I do not only talk about this world in theory. I used to be an overweight office worker with low energy, poor endurance and back pain. I know how hard it can be to start — and how easy it is to stop again without the right system and support.
I know what starting feels like.
I have gone through this path myself. Not just read about it in books, but truly experienced what it means to be overweight, weak, insecure and tired. I have also learned that extreme leanness does not automatically mean better health or better well-being. That is why I do not build the process around extremes, but around a system that can actually be maintained.
What I do today
Today I work as a personal trainer and lifestyle mentor. I help people create a clear system that fits real life, so they can become stronger, feel better in their body, improve their appearance, reduce excess body fat and build the consistency needed to keep results.
Who I work with
I do not work with people preparing for fitness competitions. Many of my longest-term clients have come from healthcare — especially nurses. That matters because even people who understand health professionally may still need structure, support and a realistic system for their own life. I have also worked with a bus driver, a teacher, a logistics manager, an entrepreneur, an executive, a programmer, a dentist, a scientist and an artist. The goal is usually a stronger body, better appearance, more energy, less pain, more confidence and a better quality of life.
Where I work
I work in Tallinn in a 100% private studio in the Volta Quarter, in indoor and outdoor gyms, and through video calls worldwide. I have helped clients maintain training and lifestyle consistency while travelling in more than 20 countries — including the USA, Australia, India, Italy, Spain, Mauritius and Puerto Rico.
What actually changed in my life?
The change was not only about body weight or the mirror. A stronger body, better endurance, less back pain, more energy and more confidence changed how I moved, worked, wore clothes and felt in my body every day.
Walking to the 3rd floor left me out of breath.
A 7–10 km run can be enjoyable, not punishment.
After a short hike, I had no energy left and wanted to sleep.
I have energy for the whole day, even after movement.
My back hurt when sitting on the sofa, in the office or in the car.
My back is stronger and lets me live normally.
Intimate confidence was affected and created insecurity.
Intimate life feels calmer, more confident and more enjoyable.
Tight dress shirts made me uncomfortable and insecure.
Clothes fit better and I feel more confident.
That is why I do not sell only weight loss or a single workout. The goal is to help you build a stronger body and a working system that lets you actually live better.
A coach does not always mean the same thing.
From the outside, services can look similar: consultation, strength training, nutrition, weight loss and lifestyle change. The real difference is whether the coach only looks at one plan — or understands how to connect training, nutrition, habits, environment, routines and motivation into one system.
I have personally been an overweight, tired office worker with back pain. I tried to restart many times and also learned that extreme leanness does not automatically mean good health or good well-being. I know what it feels like to look for a solution from a genuinely difficult place.
A coach may have good knowledge, but may not have personal experience with excess body weight, pain, failed restarts, insecurity or extremes.
More than 10,000 hours of 1:1 work with people who have real lives: lack of time, work pressure, family, travel, pain, changing motivation, previous failed attempts and very different goals.
A coach may be just starting out or may have mostly worked with one type of client. That is not automatically bad, but the experience of understanding and solving different real-life obstacles may be smaller.
More than 5,000 € and 500+ hours of professional education in training, nutrition, psychology, motivation, habits and behaviour change. In addition, formal education in psychology, social policy and communication management.
Knowledge may be limited to a minimal course, one certificate, personal experience or advice that is popular on social media.
I do not look only at training or only at nutrition. We also consider your schedule, sleep, stress, work environment, home habits, movement, eating rhythm, recovery and practical options.
Often people receive a ready-made training or nutrition plan, but no one checks whether their environment, schedule, habits and everyday obstacles actually allow them to follow it.
You do not just get more information. We choose the few important steps, create supportive routines and environment, and adjust the system based on feedback. Motivation is not expected to last forever by itself — it is supported through choice, growing skill, progress experiences and regular support.
You may receive a list of actions and the advice to be disciplined, but still be left alone when life changes, motivation drops or the original plan no longer works.
Good coaching is not only a training plan or nutrition advice. It helps create a system that fits your life, supports motivation, changes environment and habits, and keeps consistency long enough for results to actually appear.
This is not based on random opinions.
My work is supported by continuing education where I have invested more than 5000 € and hundreds of hours. Open a row to see who taught it, where it took place and when it was completed.

3 university degrees behind the work
The diplomas are in Estonian because they were issued in Estonia. One of them is my psychology degree from the University of Tartu — Estonia’s highest-ranked university. That matters because lasting change is not only about exercises and food, but also about behaviour, motivation, habits and real-life consistency. Tap a diploma to view it closer.
